Outback Steakhouse’s Alice Springs Chicken is a popular dish!

Heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise.

Put salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken according to your taste, then bake for 25 minutes.

While the chicken is cooking, cook the bacon until the fat has melted, but it is not crispy yet.

Take the chicken out of the oven, cut each bacon slice in half, and put the bacon pieces on top of the chicken pieces.

Put the chicken back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.

Take out the chicken once more, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.
