What You Need:
Eight ounces of cubed feta cheese, eight ounces of cubed mozzarella cheese, one cup of olive oil
4 finely sliced garlic cloves
2 teaspoons of finely chopped fresh rosemary and 2 tablespoons of fresh thyme
1.5 teaspoons of dried oregano
*Red pepper flakes, 1 teaspoon
Half of a lemon’s zest
Toss with salt and pepper.
How to Follow
First, boil a medium-sized mason jar in water for 10 minutes to sterilize it.
Step 2: In a little basin, mix together the garlic, lemon zest, chopped rosemary, thyme, dried oregano, and olive oil. Be sure to mix well.
3. After sterilizing the mason jar, add the cubes feta and mozzarella cheeses.
Toss the cheese cubes with the olive oil mixture and make sure to coat each cube. Tap the jar gently against the counter to release any trapped air.
Taste and add salt and pepper. 5.
6. After a day or two in the fridge, seal the jar firmly to let the flavors blend.

7. You have the option to serve it cold or allow it to cool to room temperature.
Tips and Variations
You may get a wide range of taste profiles by using cheeses such pepper jack, cheddar, or gouda. To make it your own, try including additional herbs like dill or basil, or spice up the olive oil with cumin or coriander. Before you close the jar, add some edible flowers for a more elegant touch.
